Camp ActivitiesMonday through Thursday your child(ren) will:
- Learn to be a farmer
Campers will learn how to care for a horse (i.e. muck a stall, bed a stall, water and feed, groom a horse, bathe a horse., etc.). Campers will also get exposure to a range of other farm animals including miniature ponies & donkeys, pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks and guinea pigs.
- Learn the basic fundamentals of riding
Campers will learn safe behavior around all horses and will learn the basics of tacking up a horse and riding a horse. Structured riding lessons will be given to every camper.
- Learn fun farm education
Campers will learn fun facts about our farm animals. They will play bingo and or jeopardy games during camp on the farm education they learned! Winners of the games will pick prizes from the farm’s treasure box.
- Physical Education/Outdoor Fun
Campers will participate in some good ole’ outdoor fun! Archery, kickball, soccer, basketball, tug-o-war, relay races, all "field day" activities, etc.
- Arts & Crafts
Campers will participate in a variety of fun arts and crafts activities throughout the week.
- Rec Time
Campers will take a break from the outdoors/heat everyday while enjoying their lunch with popcorn and a movie in our air-conditioned rec room.
Friday’s will be field day! On Friday we will ask that you pack a bathing suit, a change of clothes and extra sunscreen for your child!
There will be an inflatable water slide, slip n’ slides, water balloon toss games, wet sponge races, hula hoop games, potato sack races, bean bag toss, egg races, pizza, popsicles and more!
